First off I would like to thank you for spending some of your precious time with me, I really do appreciate it. The Tony Gaines Project is a collection of my thoughts and experiences throughout my life and time. The album is simply artistic expression. I have no desire to pursue a rap career, I just had a few things to say. I took my time assembling these pieces, several years in fact, and if you listen closely you can hear the growth in me as a man. This isn't music for the clubs, or the streets, or the radio, this is music to think to. It's honest, and at times it's angry, other times it's reflective, but mostly it's introspective and raw. I hope you enjoy it and that it helps you grow in some way. The "TGP" is about art, not financial gain. I have a dream of building a studio at the Boy's and Girl's club and putting together a class to teach the kids how to record, produce, and release their own music. I grew up in the club and I can only imagine what I would have done with a studio. The kids should have more options available to them then just balls and games. Any and all proceeds from this album will be going directly towards making that dream a reality. I don't have some big record deal, or some extensive marketing plan. The only way this album will circulate is if you the people, deem it worthy and pass it on to a friend. Once again thank you!
